DOOM Eternal delayed into 2020

DOOM Eternal was supposed to release on November 22nd 2019. Now publisher Bethesda has announced today the title will release on March 20th 2020 instead. Amongst that also the DOOM 64 remaster will release on the same day.

In a press release Bethesda stated no further reason as to why they delayed DOOM Eternal. We were assured that the wait time will be worth it. Further polishing of the game and hence more time to develop was required. It is important to note that the release will arrive on Playstation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch. The Nintendo Switch version of DOOM Eternal will be released a little later, currently not having a release date yet.

If you preorder DOOM Eternal, you will receive DOOM 64 for free. This rerelease of the Nintendo 64 port will come to Playstation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch as well. DOOM Eternal was also supposed to be a launch title for Google Stadia. As of now. this won’t happen anymore, as the delay also includes the Google Stadia release of the game.
