Google Stadia pricing, games and release date confirmed

It’s finally time to announce the pricing and the requirements of Google Stadia to you! The list of games is at the end, so scroll right down if you just want to see that first! Let’s talk Stadia!

Stadia Pro for November 2019

If you want to jump in on it first, Google Stadia is only available first via the £119/$129.99/€129 Founder’s Edition bundle. This bundle includes the Chromecast Ultra, so you can stream the gameplay footage in the best quality possible to any TV you own.

Then there’s the Google Stadia Night Blue controller, to play right away and to top it all off, you get a three-month subscription to Stadia Pro and also a three-month Stadia Pro subscription for a friend. Finally, you can also claim your Stadia name before anyone else (hopefully).

Stadia Free planned for 2020

If you don’t want to join Stadia Pro for 9.99$ a month, there will also come out a Stadia Free “subscription” which enables you to play games with up to 1080p/60fps quality (more than enough for many people for now). You’ll also be limited to Stereo sound only and you can only stream games via the Chrome browser on any PC or via a Pixel Phone 3 or Pixel 3a.
