Red Dead Redemption coming to PC on November 5th

Recently Rockstar launched their own PC launcher to host GTA V and other titles from the Rockstar library and everyone was suspecting this move comes from the strategic move to also host Red Dead Redemption 2 via the Rockstar game launcher. Now this has been confirmed and indeed Red Dead Redemption 2 will come to PC on November 5th via the Rockstar game launcher.

If you’ve already downloaded the Rockstar game launcher, you know that you can grab a copy of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for free. Starting on October 9th, there are also promises of special bonuses available to players. For those yet to download the Rockstar Games Launcher, be sure to download by Tuesday October 8th to get Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for free.

If you preorder Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC through the Rockstar game launcher you’ll get access to two free games out of a selection of six titles. This also includes free upgrades to the Premium Editions of Red Dead Redemption 2, with both the Special Edition and Ultimate Edition discounted by $20 each. The 6 titles are:

  • Grand Theft Auto III
  • Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
  • Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
  • Bully: Scholarship Edition
  • L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition
  • Max Payne 3: The Complete Edition

Red Dead Online included

The coming PC version of Red Dead Redemption on PC will also include the Red Dead Online access with all previous console based updates like Frontier Pursuits and the specialist Roles of Bounty Hunter, Trader and Collector.

Other retailers

As you might have guessed, Red Dead Redemption will also be available on the Epic Game Store for purchase, with Steam being allowed to sell the game in December of this year. Other stores include Greenman Gaming, the Humble Store, GameStop and additional digital retailers starting October 23rd. Their pre-order bonus will be 25 Gold Bars for Red Dead Online.
