Finally confirmed via the State of Play livestream was not only the return of fan beloved character Joel, but also the release date of The last of Us Part II for February 21st in 2020 for Playstation 4. The trailer shows Ellie being in big trouble after she and her love interest seem to be seperated after then caught by an evil group of people. Seemingly Ellie’s girlfriend gets shot by these gang members and now it’s her journey to take revenge.

Play MediEvil’s demo and L.A. Noir’s VR game today

Also today we got the release of the MediEvil remaster Demo on Playstation 4, alongside the VR chapters of L.A. Noir. Especially L.A. Noir the VR chapters looks fascinating as we have of course everything set now in first person, while interrogating people, but also when driving and having shootouts. It is definitely an interesting game to bring to the VR platform and Rockstar definitely didn’t pick the wrong game at first for this new experiment. We’ll see how well people will react to this setting and gameplay combined with the PSVR headset.

Outdrink the devil in Afterparty coming this October

Besides some indie titles being shown like Arise: A simple Story and a new project from the folks behind Catamari: Damaci, that’s just called Wattam, also got a new game from the makers of Oxenfree: Afterparty! The title finally has a release date which sets the PS4 release to October 29th 2019, so just 2 days before Halloween. It definitely looks curious with its mini games like dancing, beer pong and other party games while you are playing as your best friends in hell beating the devil for a place in heaven. Sounds good, I’ll play it!
